There are occasionally times when a laser or light show is not appropriate, though clients still want to increase public awareness, for example when opening a new building. For this reason, Laser Hire Limited have put together six alternative options. Mixing the following suggestions often leads to the attraction of large crowds and extensive media coverage. Examples of the use of these services were for Retail tours and openings, National Power and many shopping centres and outdoor events around the U .K.
These systems can be seen up to 20 miles from the venue. Beams and other aerial effects flash in the sky above buildings and house's attracting comment and curiosity for days or weeks after the event. Close to the site, location graphics and messages can be projected onto buildings and other convenient sites, so that people can be further entertained, informed and amazed when they come to see the source of the "light in the sky" . With recent advances in graphical systems (Laser Hire has won a grant from the DTI for this purpose) complex shapes and graphics can be projected, including specific company or other logo's and graphics, which can be digitised into control systems prior to the show.
